Hinde ten Berge joined Tactical Tech in May 2004. She has a background as producer of events on the cutting edge of technology and their implications on society and politics since 1997.

Previous productions include the hackers event 'HEART' as part of the Ars Electronica Festival in Linz, Austria, and several conferences on privacy and cryptography in De Balie, Amsterdam. In 2002 she organised 'World-Information.Org', in co-operation with Public Netbase/t0, Vienna, and Waag Society, De Balie and Montevideo/TBA, Amsterdam. World-Information.Org's program included an exhibition, the conference 'World-InfoCon: The Network Society of Control', and a series of workshops. Hinde also produced 'No Escape' (2003) in co-operation with Paradiso, Amsterdam. No Escape was an event dedicated to security, surveillance, biometric verification and total control, in the framework of the Next 5 Minutes Festival. Hinde serves on the Board of Directors of the International Financial Cryptography Association (Anguilla, BWI), formed to advance the theory and practice of financial cryptography and related fields.
