Neil is a long-time open source user, advocate, and developer - being productive using open source software exclusively for over ten years. He has been a developer and contributor to a number of open source projects, most notably the FreeBSD project, and now heads development on the KnowledgeTree open source document management system.

His programming passion is Python, the agile, portable, and generally great programming language. Outside of productive technology, his hobbies are his two dogs, roleplaying, and console gaming on his GameCube and DS.
