I have a master’s degree in Computer science with over 18 years of working experience; works as programme officer (teacher development & training) with Schoolnet Nigeria; a non-profit organization totally committed to the use of ICTs in education to enhance teaching and learning processes in secondary schools. I have had the opportunity to be part of a team that set up over 60 computer laboratories based on the Linux and open source platform. Coordinated all training sessions in the computer laboratories and have trained over 1000 teachers with bias for female teachers on the use of ICT in education in the last two years. At present, I am working with some educators on the use of television in the classroom and the effective integration into the school curriculum.
