I am Samwel Okech Kongere born in Kenya In 1969 to a business oriented family. In started my primary education in the year 1975 to 1981 and O-level from 1983 to 1985. Due to financial strains I had to drop out for my younger brothers to catch up to mthe level I was.In the year 2004 from well wishers pockets I managed to attend a basic/ computer applications classes at Homa Bay Youth Polytechnique, currently am taking training on Community based health and development diploma.

I have worked with a Non governmental Organization as volunteer for eight years doing social work on primary health care, micro-enterprise development,youth mobilization, malaria control on community development and empowerment.

I have helped initiate a micro-finance institution called Rusinga Island Village Bank. In Rusinga Island,organized a project co-ordinating committee and managed it's secretariat for two years (2003&2004). I have also initiated a training on ICT. We hope to start a resource center and market arts products Online and join hands to promote speople's concepts.

I in the year 2004 volunteered to train youths and women on Computer applications, Initiated an online social mapping network to promote people’s concepts online and networking. Currently we are training Malaria surveillance team members on entering data in computers to promote ICT use in Africa.

My proffesion as a social worker, multi media collaborator and social scientist can be traced back to the year 1996 when I got affiliated to Rusinga Island child and family project (CCF-KENYA) Since then I have come up with several development forcasing youth groups,women empowerment, micro-enterprise and funds management, i.e to Udogo youth development group and Kawala women development group.
