A kenyan citizen and an information systems professional,currently working for the Citizens Coalition for Constitutional Change (http://www.4cskenyatuitakayo.org)as the Information systems administrator and Martus Africa project Coordinator in the institution. With Six years Hands on expirience in designing, developing, implementing and maintaining different information systems ,training and support on Martus in the NGO sector in Kenya,and working with alternative communication strategies including the open source technologies.Information security is an issue that most if not ALL NGOs expirience.

Practical expirience includes installation ,testing, upgrading, troubleshooting ,support and maintenance of ICT systems, Linux servers, Security administrations, LANS/WANS combined with software administrations and configurations in Non governmental and Cooperate organizations.Currently I am working on a research for alternate communications strategies for governance and gender empowerment in Kenya.So far I have generated and developed a virtual backup system and online dicussion forum for the institution.
