Kennedy Kubuga, Ghana
Kennedy Kubuga is a Ghanaian living in Ghana. He's not been around Open Source for too long - less than a year now and so would want to consider himself a new comer in the Open Source Community. Ken speaks the Visual Basic 6 and C++ languages though not very fluent in the later. He has been doing some web development as well, especially with Macromedia Dreamweaver. In Tamale, where he lives Ken has been instrumental alongside a few others in the formation of a Tamale Open Source Club. It's a relatively young group but with a lot of vision and hope for the future. At the Centre for Information Technologies Research and Development (CITRED) where he works, he is the Capacity Development Officer. This has seen him conduct a number of training sessions. Most of these have been Applications related.
Born in 1980, Ken holds a BSc in Computer Science from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. He's been involved in Training for the past four years and thus feels more comfortable as a trainer than as a programmer although he has had more training as a programmer.
No real hobbies. Anything intriguing and seemingly difficult goes for pastime!
