During one of the days of the workshop we will dedicate part of the afternoon to the bazaar or so called open market.

The Open Market (also known as "The Bazaar")

The Africa Source 2 Open Market/Bazaar? will seek to evoke the energy and interplay of a busy marketplace. We'll lay out rugs, brew mint tea, and invite camp participants to exchange ideas, projects, visions and skills, trading in currencies of creativity and learning.

Offerings will be presented "Show and tell" style, and most welcome will be unique and creative displays with regional flair -it doesn't have to be technical! Whether it's something you've worked on yourself or something you love and want to share, if it manifests the spirit of Free and Open Source we encourage you to tout and talk, be it art, media, software, hardware or something entirely different.

In the past we've had bead necklace design sessions, Polish speaking lessons, and juggling lessons side by side with security demonstrations and other tech talk. Envision time frames for exchange that fall in the range of 2-10 minutes, and aim to make your presentations visual and tactile. Electricity and internet access should not be presumed.

So if you need to bring something to make your presence more interesting its time to think about what that is :-)
